IN PROGRESS

With the ever growing order books, the workshops are again packed with boats, in various stages of completion.

– Gillian B –

The next Dutch Barge Style boat due out of the fitting out shop is virtually complete. Another new design – a 65L (65ft x 15ft) Dutch Style Barge, with a rear cabin (Luxe motor). The boat was built for Peter and Gillian Bennett, who come from Dubai. A feature of this boat is the “garage” in the bow, with a lift up lid and crane in the bow to house their two Vespa scooters – making them truly mobile.

– Havelok –

Following on from “Gillian B” and currently in fitting out, is a 57N (57ft x 12ft 6ins) Dutch Style Barge for Matthew and Helen Littlewood, from Derby. Again, it’s a motor style, so has a rear well deck and is a two bedroom, two bathroom layout, with an occasional two berths in the wheelhouse.

– Narrowboats –

The fit out is almost complete on a 58ft semi traditional narrowboat, for Bob Walton and Fran Flint from Ascot. This boat is a copy of “Toulouse”, the Walkers narrowboat which was looking so smart at the Henley gathering. Obviously Bob and Fran thought so too!

– Steelwork –

In steelwork at present we have a 60M (60ft x 13ft) Dutch Style Barge for Tim and Linda Crew, from Buckinghamshire, to be fitted as a two bedroom, two bathroom, with two occasional berths in the wheelhouse and a 60ft x12ft 6ins residential wide beam for Ray & Lin Jones, from Dorset.

Two more of the 49M Dutch Style Barges follow – one for Alan and Marianne Kerr, also from Buckinghamshire and one for Phil Webb and Alison Hall from Berkshire. We follow this with a 65ft x 14ft Dutch Barge for Stewart Carr.
